Kira Homsher is currently an MFA candidate at Virginia Tech, where she has served as Managing Editor for The New River and Fiction Editor for the minnesota review. She graduated from Temple University in 2018 with BAs in English and Film, and has lived and studied in many cities, including Philadelphia, Brooklyn, London, and Tokyo.


The winner of Phoebe Journal's 2020 nonfiction contest and a finalist in CRAFT's 2019 flash fiction contest, her work also appears or is forthcoming in SmokeLong QuarterlyDIAGRAM, X-R-A-Y LitGhost City Review, Bedfellows MagazineUnbroken Journal, Middle House Review, and Hoxie Gorge Review
